The source of an illness outbreak linked to an Ohio Chipotle remains a mystery

Health officials still don't know what caused a potential foodborne illness outbreak linked to a Chipotle restaurant in Ohio.
More than 700 people have reported getting sick after eating at the restaurant.
Stool samples tested negative for Salmonella, Shigella, E.coli and Norovirus. Further testing is underway.
Chipotle temporarily closed a restaurant in Virginia last year after receiving reports of ill customers. Within two days, Chipotle and health officials confirmed that Norovirus was the source of the illness outbreak.

Fresh Express has issued another product recall, after its salads were found to be the source of an outbreak of the cyclospora parasite.
The infection has already seen them dumped by thousands of McDonald's stores, where tainted salads have infected at least 395 people.
The latest recall did not specify what product was affected, other than saying that they were "for institutional use" and had no branding.
Fresh Express said last week it was still trying to work out how the outbreak started.

A woman is suing McDonald's salad supplier after becoming so severely ill she was "forced to wear Depends diapers," according to a complaint filed on Monday.
Kellie McCall says she was struck by cyclosporiasis after eating a salad from an Iowa McDonald's restaurant in June.
The parasitic illness linked to McDonald's salads has now sickened at least 395 people in 15 states.
As of Monday, the salad supplier Fresh Express still says it does know what caused the outbreak.
