The fact that some states are reopening does not mean that the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
Dr. Claudia Finkelstein explains that the decision to go hiking or swimming in a public place isn't one that should be taken lightly.
If you do choose to go out, Finkelstein advises to maintain a safe distance between yourself and others, and to still wear a mask, even at the beach.

While shopping for groceries, you don't have to be as worried about contamination from food or food packaging as you do from other people nearby.
To stay safe, wear a face mask at all times, and wash your hands vigorously after returning home and unpacking.
