FCA just issued a recall of almost 5 million cars because they could get stuck in cruise control

FCA said on Friday it is recalling 4.8 million U.S. vehicles over a defect that could prevent drivers from deactivating cruise control.
The company said owners should not use the function until after updating the vehicle's software.
Most of the vehicles being recalled cover 2014-2018 model years.

Fiat Chrysler announced today that it's recalling 4.8 million cars because a short circuit could cause cruise control to accelerate the vehicles without drivers being able to cancel the function. Fiat Chrysler is telling customers to stop using cruise control until the cars are fixed.
