RV rental platform Outdoorsy says it will hit $1 billion in sales next month after seeing explosive growth during the pandemic

RV rental platform Outdoorsy is set to hit $1 billion in sales next month.
Outdoorsy grew 4,600% from April to October, Jeff Cavins, cofounder and CEO of Outdoorsy, told Insider.
The company recently brought on strategic hires from Airbnb and Metromile.

Health and tech giants are together creating digital vaccination passports so people can prove they've had a COVID-19 shot.
Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Cerner, Epic Systems, and the Mayo Clinic are all part of the Vaccination Credential Initiative .

Cut-price apparel retailer Primark predicts that store closures during COVID-19 will cost it $1.4 billion

British fashion giant Primark's sales were down 30% year-on-year in the quarter, its parent company said.
More than 75% of its stores are currently closed.
Primark's total loss from store closures could reach £1.05 billion , it said.
