Tourism in Saudi Arabia contributed 5 percent to its GDP

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on September 27th, 2019, a new reform started. For tourism, its borders were opened. Furthermore, the dress code was relaxed for foreign women who were not required to wear an abaya in the country.
Thousands of applicants made the most of this opportunity to explore the country which has remained unseen for many.

Saudi Arabia takes part in the fourth meeting of tourism ministers in GCC countries in Muscat

Saudi Arabia participated in the fourth meeting of ministers responsible for tourism and culture in the GCC countries in Muscat.
The meeting held at the Omani capital discussed a number of issues that enhance tourism in the region.
Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage , spoke about part of the Kingdom's national tourism strategy, besides announcing that Saudi Arabia would open its doors for foreign tourists globally.
