Beirut has introduced a hop-on/hop-off bus tour service as the Lebanese capital witnesses a major visitor growth.
The tourist numbers heading to Beirut has constantly increased and fallen depending on the political situation in the country.
For tourism in Lebanon, the 1960s was considered as a golden age, and Beirut was frequently called the “Paris of the Middle East”; a playing field for the rich and well-known. To Australia, Chine remains the top source of visitors!

In the 12 months to March 2019, the number of foreign visitors to Australia has reached 8.5 million. China was the biggest source of visitors, as per data published on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Tourism Research Australia disclosed its recent International Visitor Survey , disclosing that the total number of visitors increased 3 percent from the year before as the amount they spent increased 5 percent to 44.3 billion Australian dollars .
China remained the leading tourism market for Australia, with the number of visitors from the country increasing 2.9 percent to 1.3 million.

ATM 2019 sees 106% increase in visitors from China and 20% increase in international visitors

This year's Arabian Travel Market saw a 106% increase in visitors from China and a 20% increase in international visitors to the event. ATM was held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 28 April - 1 May this year.
ATM has gradually grown to become the largest event of its kind in the region and one of the biggest in the world.
This year's event showcased the largest ever exhibition from Asia, witnessing an 8% YoY increase in total floor space, with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka being the largest exhibitors.
