Icelandair's New U.S. Routes

Icelandair announced several exciting new and returning U.S. routes. A new seasonal service to Kansas commences May 25, with three non-stop flights a week to Iceland on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
“Icelandair has made an excellent choice in connecting Kansas City to their growing network,” said Pat Klein, director of aviation, Kansas City. “In addition to nonstop access to one of the fastest growing tourism destinations, passengers will also appreciate the ease of transiting through Iceland on their way to Europe.”

The U.S. Department of State released warnings for U.S. travelers heading to Mexico, but what exactly does it mean?
A new four-level travel system rolled out, intended to make security information clearer, but it also creates a lot of confusion. Mexico as a whole is at a level two advisory, meaning travelers are encouraged to “exercise increased caution,” but five states within the country are at a level four - the “do not travel” category.

Arkansas part of new U.S. Civil Rights Trail

A U.S. Civil Rights Trail, which includes over 100 attractions across 14 states, debuted this year to coincide with Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the 155th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. On the trail, which is a project of Travel South USA and the National Parks Service, are landmark sites from the civil rights era in the 1950s and 1960s.
