Boeing stock lost as much as 4% early Monday in the wake of the engine failure of a 777 plane over Colorado on Saturday.

Boeing 777s grounded by airlines following Denver incident

The Federal Aviation Administration has decided to step up Boeing 777 inspections following an incident over the weekend. On Saturday, an engine onboard United Airlines flight 328 failed on as it was flying from Denver to Honolulu, and dumped debris over the suburbs of the Colorado city. Authorities reported that no damage or injuries were caused aboard or on the ground and the plane landed safely.
However, planes that contain the same Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines are now being removed from service. United Airlines, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways have stopped using 62 planes...

Airlines are grounding Boeing 777 planes with certain engines after one failed mid-flight.
Video from a United passenger showed an engine on fire. The plane landed safely, but dropped debris.
Other airlines that fly the same plane grounded them too, as recommended by Boeing.
