Both President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump made small errors on tweets commemorating the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Thursday is the 76th anniversary of the attack that launched the US's involvement in World War II.
President Donald Trump slightly misquoted one of former President Franklin Roosevelt's most famous speeches in a tweet commemorating the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.
"National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day - 'A day that will live in infamy!' December 7, 1941," Trump tweeted on Thursday morning .
In his speech marking the attack on...

On December 7, 1941, the US naval fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, suffered a devastating attack from the air and sea.
The Japanese assault began at 7:48 a.m. , resulting in the deaths of 2,402 Americans, numerous injuries, and the sinking of four battleships, and damage to many more.
Surprised US service members who normally would have slept in on that Sunday morning or enjoyed some recreation, found themselves fighting for their lives.
In 2013, the US Navy remembered the "day of infamy" with a...

Sunday, December 7, 1941, began like any other Sunday at Pearl Harbor, the US's most important Pacific base.
Sailors and airmen slowly roused themselves from sleep as the might of the US fleet sat at anchor across the waterfront.
No one had an inkling of the devastating Japanese attack that would commence at 7:48 a.m. and would leave 2,402 US servicemen dead.
"The Japanese bombs did tremendous damage to the immediate strength of America's Pacific airpower, as well as her Pacific sea power, which was based upon Pearl Harbor," a British Movietone narrator says over footage taken...

Under the South Pacific sun on December 7, 1941, troops serving the US fleet at Pearl Harbor began a calm Sunday morning unaware that Japanese bombers were headed toward America's most important Pacific base.
There, like a string of pearls draped across the docks and waterfront, was the majority of the US's naval might.
The devastating Japanese onslaught began at 7:48 a.m., eventually killing 2,402 Americans and wounding many others, sinking four battleships, and damaging military airfields.
The Pearl Harbor attack spurred America into World War II, leading ultimately to Allied...
