Cuba expects an increase in tourists

Cuba hopes to see an increase in foreign visitors despite the deteriorating ties with the United States and the tourism industry is bracing itself for the year-end high season.
Due to travel restriction reimposed by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, the tourism sector massively suffered.
Travelling for Americans to Cuba was difficult after a brief period of détente during Obama's regime which led the U.S. airlines to scale back flights to Havana and other Cuban countries.
