West Lothian attracts five million tourists with historical destinations

Scotland's historic district, West Lothian welcomes over five million visitors in the past year considering a boom in local tourism.
The Historic Environment Scotland announced visitor figures for the 2017-2018 financial year.
And 2017-2018 saw Blackness Castle continue to celebrate the “Outlander effect” as it recorded a dramatic 44 per cent increase in footfall. There are over 43,000 people visited the fortress on the Firth of Forth throughout the financial year, which stands in for Fort William in the hit television series.

The tourism industry in Turkey is making a fast recovery in 2018 as early booking figures and the growing demand from other countries showed Turkey a record 40 million tourists' arrival with over 30 billion U.S. dollars earning in travel and tourism revenue.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that they have managed to overcome unfavorable odds and they are very hopeful this year.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan indicated that the adverse effects of a failed military coup in July 2016 have now been cleared off in Turkey.
